राश्यंपोष्णकरशीतकरामरेज्यै-र्नीचाधिपंशकगतैररिभागगैर्वा ॥ एभ्योऽल्पध्यबहुभि:क्रमश:प्रसूता ज्ञेया:स्युरभ्युपगमक्रयगर्भदासा: ॥ २३-१४ ॥
With Jupiter, the Moon, or the Sun being the lord of the portion (navamsha) of the zodiac sign ॥ where the Moon is located॥ situated in the portion (navamsha) of their lords of debilitation or situated in the portions of their enemies, they should be servants by birth purchased by contract to be known produced with little (Jupiter), mediocre (the Moon), and plenty (the Sun), in that order.
