एकस्थैश्चतुरादिभिर्बलयुतैर्जाता: पृथग्वीर्यगै: शाक्याजीविकभिक्षुवृद्धचरका निर्ग्रन्थवन्याशना ॥ माहेयज्ञगुरुक्षपाकरसितप्राभाकरीनै: क्रमात् प्रव्रज्या बलिभि: समा: परजितैस्तत्स्वामिभि: प्रच्युति: ॥ १५-१ ॥
With four or more (planets) are situated in one (zodiac sign) mendicants are born. With Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, the Moon, Venus, Saturn, and the Sun joined with strength singly having great influence are Shakya, Jain, Brahmin, Vriddha, Charaka, Nirgrantha and Vanyashana are all the mendicants with those (planets) possessed of power, in that order. With the lords of those conquered by other planets, is a withdrawal (from those mendicant orders).

ekasthaizcaturAdibhirbalayutairjAtA: pRthagvIryagai: zAkyAjIvikabhikSuvRddhacarakA nirgranthavanyAzanA ॥ mAheyajJagurukSapAkarasitaprAbhAkarInai: kramAt pravrajyA balibhi: samA: parajitaistatsvAmibhi: pracyuti: ॥ 15-1 ॥

With those creators (of the mendicant yogas) destroyed by the Sun, those people are not initiated. With those (destroyed, just mentioned) of strength, devotions are situated in those. With those devotions; those who requested initiation, but did not receive it; also occurs with those combinations aspected by other (planets).

raviluptakarairadIkSitA balibhistadgatabhaktayo narA: ॥ abhiyAcitamAtradIkSitA nihatairanyanirIkSitairapi ॥ 15-2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptजन्मेशोऽन्यैर्यद्यदृष्टोऽर्कपुत्रं पश्यत्यार्किर्जन्मपं वा बलोनम् ॥ दीक्षां प्राप्नोत्यार्किदृक्काणसंस्थे भोमार्क्यशे सौरदृष्ठटे च चन्द्रे ॥ १५-३ ॥
If ruler of the sign of the Moon at birth is not aspected by those other (planets) and it aspects Saturn or Saturn aspects the weak ruler of the sign of the Moon at birth, one attains initiation. When the Moon is situated in the drekkana of Saturn and in the portion of Mars or Saturn aspected by Saturn, one attains initiation.

When Jupiter, the Moon, and the lagna is aspected by Saturn, Jupiter is in the 9th house, and one has a royal yoga; one should be a performer of pilgrimages.
