अधमसमवरिष्ठान्यर्क्केन्द्रादिसंस्थे शशिनि विनयवित्तज्ञानधीनैपुणानि ॥ अहनि निशि च चन्द्रे स्वेऽधिमित्रांशके वा सुरगुरुसितदृष्टे वित्तवान्स्यात्सुखी च॥ १३-१ ॥
When the Moon is situated in an kendra (angle), etc. from the Sun; one has worst, middling, and best good behavior, fame, knowledge, intelligence, and skill, accordingly. During the day when aspected by Jupiter and during the night when aspected by Venus when the Moon is in one’s own (zodiac sign) or in a great friend’s portion, one should be possessed of wealth and happiness.

When there is an Adhiyoga with the benefic planets in the 7th, 6th, and 8th houses from the Moon; there is a creation of a lord of the earth, minister, lord of an army; one is rich, comfortable, and prosperous; has slain enemies, and it apparent that there is an absence of the fear of diseases from a long duration of life.

hk transliteration by Sanscriptहित्वार्कं सुनफानफादुरुधुरा: स्वान्त्योभयस्थैर्ग्र है: शीतांशो: कथितोऽन्यथा तु बहुभि: केमद्रु मोऽन्यैस्त्वसौ ॥ केन्द्रे शीतकरेऽथवा ग्रहयुते केमद्रु मो नेष्यते केचित्केन्द्रनवांशकेषु च वदन्त्युक्तिप्रसिद्धा न ते ॥ १३-३ ॥
With the exception of the Sun; Sunapha, Anapha, and Durudhura are indicated with the planets situated in the 2nd, 12th, or both houses from the Moon, respectively. But otherwise, with the many others (combinations) is Kemadruma Yoga. But if that (a planet minus the Sun and Moon) is in an angle or when the Moon is joined to a planet, it is not to be sanctioned as a Kemadruma yoga. Some others say, (the Kemadruma is void when a planet) is in the navamsha portions of the angles. But those (exceptions) are not an authoritative statement.

hitvArkaM sunaphAnaphAdurudhurA: svAntyobhayasthairgra hai: zItAMzo: kathito'nyathA tu bahubhi: kemadru mo'nyaistvasau ॥ kendre zItakare'thavA grahayute kemadru mo neSyate kecitkendranavAMzakeSu ca vadantyuktiprasiddhA na te ॥ 13-3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptत्रिंशत्सरूपा सुनफानफाख्या: षष्टित्रयं दौरुधरे प्रभेदा: ॥ इच्छाविकल्पै: क्रमशोऽभिनीय नीते निवृत्ति: पुनरन्यनीति: ॥ १३-४ ॥
There are thirty plus one (31) kinds each of those named Sanaphas and Anaphas Yogas, and sixty times three (180) kinds derived from the Durudhara Yogas with the variety of combinations having exhibited in due order. When obtained reducing (by one), again there is another form.

triMzatsarUpA sunaphAnaphAkhyA: SaSTitrayaM daurudhare prabhedA: ॥ icchAvikalpai: kramazo'bhinIya nIte nivRtti: punaranyanIti: ॥ 13-4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्वयमधिगतवित्त: पार्थिवस्तत्समो वा भवति हि सुनफायां धीधनख्यातिमांश्च ॥ प्रभुरगदशशीर: शीलवान्ख्यातर्कीतिर्विषयसुखसुवेषो निर्वृ तश्चानफायाम् ॥ १३-५ ॥
When there is a Sunapha Yoga; indeed, there is gain in acquiring wealth by one’s own exertion, ruling the earth or like that, and possessed of fame, intelligence, and wealth. When there is an Anapha Yoga; one is powerful, has a healthy body, possessed of a good character, has celebrated fame, pleasure in the senses and well dressed, and contented.
