मित्रारिस्वगृहगतैर्ग्रहैस्ततोऽर्थं तुङ्गस्थे बलिनि च भास्करे स्वीवीर्यात् ॥ आयस्थैरुदयधनाश्रितैश्च सौम्यै: स?ञ्चिन्त्यं बलसहितैरनेकधा स्वम् ॥ १०-४ ॥
With the planets situated in a friend’s, enemy’s, one’s own zodiac sign from that is wealth. When the Sun is situated in exaltation and possessed of power, from the power of one’s self. When those (planets) are situated in the 11th house and with those (planets) inhabiting the lagna or the 2nd house with benefics conjunct with the powerful, wealth is to be considered in various ways.
