तर्पयन्ति वपुः कृत्स्नं ता मर्माण्याश्रितास्ततः । तत्क्षतात्क्षतजात्यर्थप्रवृत्तेर्धातुसङ्क्षये ॥ ६४ ॥

which nourish the entire body, are seated (located) in the marma (vital spots), so when the siras are injured, they too (vital spots) are injured, depletion / decrease of dhatus (tissues) takes place due to severe loss of blood;

english translation

tarpayanti vapuH kRtsnaM tA marmANyAzritAstataH । tatkSatAtkSatajAtyarthapravRtterdhAtusaGkSaye ॥ 64 ॥
