Astanga Hrudaya
कृकाटिके शिरोग्रीवासन्धौ, तत्र चलं शिरः। अधस्तात्कर्णयोर्निम्ने विधुरे श्रुतिहारिणी॥२९॥
At the junction of the throat (neck) and the head are the two krkatika; injury to these causes tremors (shaking) of the head. Below the back of the ears are two vidhura; injury to these causes deafness.

kRkATike zirogrIvAsandhau, tatra calaM ziraH। adhastAtkarNayornimne vidhure zrutihAriNI॥29॥
