Astanga Hrudaya
भोजनं तत्र वातघ्नं स्वेदाभ्यङ्गाः सवस्तयः । पीड्यमानेऽन्तरा मुक्ते गुदे प्रतिहतोऽनिलः॥४८॥
In this condition the treatments are foods which mitigate Vata, fomentation and anointing oil (to the rectum etc.) and administration of enema. Enema bag left unpressed (incompletely pressed) during the administration of enema, Vata getting obstructed in the rectum aggravated Vata produces pain in the chest and head and weakness of the thighs.
