आनाहमश्मरीं चाशु हन्यात्तदनुवासनम्। साधितं पञ्चमूलेन तैलं बिल्वादिनाऽथवा॥६६॥
(āḍhya-māruta / Ūrustambha), acute abdominal distension (ānāha), and urinary calculi (aśmarī). Medicated oil prepared with herbs of (laghu) Pancamula or bilvadi Pancamula (and administered as enema), mitigates kapha.

कफघ्नं कल्पयेत्तैलं द्रव्यैर्वा कफघातिभिः । फलैरष्टगुणैश्चाम्लैः सिद्धमन्वासनं कफे ॥ ६७ ॥
Medicated oil prepared with other herbs which mitigate kapha, prepared along with phalai: – Randia dumetorum and eight times of sour liquids, this lubricating enema is good for mitigating kapha.

मृदुवस्तिजडीभूते तीक्ष्णोऽन्यो वस्तिरिष्यते । तीक्ष्णैर्विकर्षिते स्निग्धो मधुरः शिशिरो मृदुः ॥ ६८ ॥
If a mild enema (mṛdu-vasti) becomes stagnant, sluggish, or fails to return due to insufficient potency (jaḍī-bhūte), another enema of strong, sharp potency (tīkṣṇaḥ anyaḥ) is desired and should be administered to clear it. Conversely, if the system becomes overly irritated, exhausted, or excessively scraped by a sharp enema (tīkṣṇair-vikarṣite), a therapeutic follow-up enema that is unctuous (snigdhaḥ), sweet in taste (madhuraḥ), cooling in potency (śiśiraḥ), and mild (mṛduḥ) must be given.

तीक्ष्णत्वं मूत्रपील्वग्निलवणक्षारसर्षपैः । प्राप्तकालं विधातव्यं क्षीराज्याद्यैस्तु मार्दवम् ॥ ६९ ॥
The sharp and penetrating property (tīkṣṇatvam) of an enema formulation is achieved by adding substances like cow's urine (mūtra), pīlu (Salvadora persica), agni (citraka / Plumbago zeylanica), rock salt (lavaṇa), medicinal alkalis (kṣāra), and mustard seeds (sarṣapa). On the other hand, the desired mildness, softening, and soothing quality (mārdavam) should be intentionally formulated at the appropriate clinical time (prāpta-kālam) by integrating ingredients such as milk (kṣīra) and ghee (ājya).

बलकालरोगदोषप्रकृतीः प्रविभज्य योजितो वस्तिः । स्वैः स्वैरौषधवर्गैः स्वान् स्वान् रोगान्निवर्तयति ॥ ७० ॥
Enema liquids prepared with herbs belonging to the herbs groups concerned with (mitigating) each Dosha respectively and administered as enema deciding the strength (of the patient), the time, the disease, the Dosha and the type of constitution (of the patient) bring about the cure of the diseases caused by each of them respectively.
