अतीसारं जयेच्छीघ्रं त्रिदोषमपि दारुणम् । कृष्णमृच्छङ्खयष्ट्याह्वक्षौद्रासृक्तण्डुलोदकम् ॥९१॥
quickly cures even severe and terrible diarrhea arising from the simultaneous aggravation of all three doṣas (tridoṣaja atisāra). A mixture of fine powder of black soil, śaṅkha (conch shell), yaṣṭyāhva – Glycyrrhiza glabra, along with honey and the fresh blood of a goat or deer, administered with rice-washed water (taṇḍulodaka), conquers bleeding.

the patient is immediately relieved of burning sensation (dāha), excessive thirst (tṛṣṇā), delusion/fainting (pramoha), and active bleeding (raktasrāva). If there is burning sensation or ulceration/inflammation of the rectum (gudapāka), local pouring/sprinkling (seka) and topical applications (lepa) using cooling substances are highly beneficial.

When the patient eliminates blood in small quantities frequently, accompanied by severe pain (śūla), and the vāyu (flatus/rectal gas) is completely obstructed, passing out with great difficulty or not at all;
