पाठां मधुरसां दारु सरलं च निशि स्थितम् । सुरामण्डेऽल्पलवणं पिबेत्प्रसृतसम्मितम् ॥ ३१ ॥
pāṭhāṃ – Cissampelos pareira, madhurasāṃ – Marsdenia tenacissima, dāru – Cedrus deodara, saralaṃ – Pinus roxburghii, surāmaṇḍe ca – are soaked in Scum of beer and kept overnight; alpa lavaṇaṃ – adding little salt, it should be drunk consumed in 1 prasrta quantity – 96 ml

hk transliteration by Sanscriptभार्गीशुण्ठ्यौ सुखाम्भोभिः क्षारं वा मरिचान्वितम् । स्वक्वाथपिष्टां लुलितां बाष्पिकां पाययेत वा ॥ ३२ ॥
bhārgī – Clerodendrum serratum, śuṇṭhyau – Zingiber officinale, followed by (or mixed with) drinking warm water; kṣāraṃ vā – mixed with alkali of Hordeum vulgare maricānvitam – and Piper nigrum; or drink bāṣpikāṃ piṣṭāṃ – paste of Ferula jaeschkeana macerated with its own decoction.
