शाल्योदनंक्षतोरस्कःक्षीणशुक्रबलेन्द्रियः । वातपित्तार्दितेऽभ्यङ्गो गात्रभेदे घृतैर्मतः ॥ ९१ ॥
This unique ghee should be consumed along with cooked Shali rice by the patient suffering from chest injuries, decreased semen, depleted physical strength, and weakened sense organs. In case of cutting or splitting pain all over the body (Gatrabheda) caused by Vata and Pitta together, anointing and massaging the body (Abhyanga) with medicated ghee is highly recommended.

When the body is severely afflicted by Vata alone, massage with Vata-alleviating medicated oils is preferred. In case of pain in the region of the heart and the flanks, internal intake (Pana) of ghee processed with herbs of the Jivaniya Gana (vitalizing group) should be administered.

Alternatively, any treatment that balances Vata but is not antagonistic to Pitta and Rakta (blood) should be adopted. Medicated ghee prepared with the decoction of Glycyrrhiza glabra and Sida veronicaefolia, along with an equal quantity of milk, is highly recommended.

This ghee, cooked with the fine paste (Kalka) of Ipomoea paniculata, Piper longum, and Bambusa arundinacea, is exceptionally beneficial for treating chest injuries (Kshata). To prepare the formulation known as Amritaprasha Ghrita, a fine paste is made from half a karsha (6 grams) or one karsha (12 grams)* each of the herbs belonging to the Jivaniya Gana (vitalizing group), along with Zingiber officinale, Asparagus racemosus, Pueraria tuberosa, and Boerhavia diffusa.
