अन्नावृते पाचनीयं वमनं दीपनं लघु । मूत्रावृते मूत्रलानि स्वेदाश्चोत्तरवस्तयः ॥ ६१ ॥
When enveloped by Retas (semen), the treatment previously described should be adopted. When Vata is enveloped by Anna (food), digestive therapies (pachaniya), emesis (vamana), appetizers/kindlers of digestion (dipana), and light food (laghu) are ideal. When Vata is enveloped by Mutra (urine), the use of diuretics (mutrala), sudation, and Uttara Basti (urethral/vaginal enema) is recommended.

एरण्डतैलं वर्चःस्थे वस्तिस्नेहाश्च भेदिनः । कफपित्ताविरुद्धं यद्यच्च वातानुलोमनम् ॥ ६२ ॥
When enveloped by Varshas (feces), castor oil (eranda taila), medicated enemas (basti), and lubricating fats (sneha) that act as laxatives to break down hard stools (bhedina) are highly effective. Whatever treatment is not antagonistic to Kapha and Pitta, and actively directs Vata in its downward, natural course (vatanulomanam), should be selected.

सर्वस्थानावृतेऽप्याशु तत्कार्यं मातरिश्वनि । अनभिष्यन्दि च स्निग्धं स्रोतसां शुद्धिकारणम् ॥ ६३ ॥
When Matarisvan (Vata) is enveloped across all locations of the body simultaneously, that specific line of treatment must be implemented immediately. The remedies and foods used should be non-clogging (anabhisyandi), unctuous (snigdha), and capable of purifying and clearing the bodily channels (srotasām shuddhikaranam).

यापना वस्तयः प्रायो मधुराः सानुवासनाः । प्रसमीक्ष्य बलाधिक्यं मृदु कार्यं विरेचनम् ॥ ६४ ॥
Sustaining enemas (yapana basti) along with oil enemas (anuvasana basti), generally processed with herbs of sweet taste (madhura), are primarily recommended. After carefully assessing and ensuring that the patient possesses excellent strength, a mild purgation (mridu virechanam) should be administered.

रसायनानां सर्वेषामुपयोगः प्रशस्यते । शिलाह्वस्य विशेषेण पयसा शुद्धगुग्गुलोः ॥ ६५ ॥
Furthermore, the use of all types of rejuvenative therapies (rasayana) is highly praised and beneficial in this condition. Specifically, the intake of Shilajatu (asphaltum) or purified Guggulu (Commiphora mukul) along with milk is exceptionally praised.
