One Tula (4.8 kg) of Avartaki – Cassia auriculata / Helicteres isora is boiled in one drona (12 litres 228 ml) of water and decoction reduced to one-eigh quantity. To this are added the paste of its own root and to this decoction is added one Prastha (768 grams) of Ghrita and medicated ghee cooked.
