शतधौतघृतेनाग्निं प्रदिह्यात्केवलेन वा । सेचयेद्घृतमण्डेन शीतेन मधुकाम्बुना ॥ २१ ॥
In cases of Agni Vīsarpa, the affected area should be smeared with Śatadhauta Ghṛta (ghee washed a hundred times) or with plain unmedicated ghee. Alternatively, it should be sprinkled or showered (seka) with the floating scum of ghee (ghṛtamaṇḍa) or with a cold decoction of madhuka (Glycyrrhiza glabra).
