मुसलेन पीडितोऽनु च याति प्लीहा पयोभुजो नाशम् । रोहीतकलताः क्लृप्ता: खण्डशः साभया जले ॥ ९१ ॥

or alternatively, fermented in cow urine (mūtra). After keeping the mixture for seven nights, it should be filtered and consumed. This formulation cures jaundice (kāmalā), splenic disorders (plīhan), abdominal tumors (gulma), hemorrhoids (arśas), intestinal worms (kṛmi), urinary disorders/diabetes (meha), and enlargement of the abdomen (udara).

Take twenty-five palas (approx. 1.2 kg) of the bark of rohītaka – Tecomella undulata, along with two prasthas (approx. 1.5 kg) of kola – Ziziphus jujuba, and prepare a decoction (kaṣāya) from them.

Prepare a therapeutic paste (kalka) using one pala (approx. 48 grams) each of the five herbs belonging to the Pañcakola group (pippalī, pippalīmūla, cavya, citraka, and śuṇṭhī), along with an amount of rohītaka bark paste equal to the combined weight of the Pañcakola. Cook one prastha (approx. 768 grams) of ghee with this paste and the previously prepared decoction.
