न्यग्रोधादिकषायेण स्नेहवस्तिश्च तच्छृतः । दुर्बलं त्वनुवास्यादौ शोधयेत्क्षीरवस्तिभिः ॥ ६१ ॥
The decoction enema should be prepared from herbs of the Nyagrodhādi Gaṇa, and an oil enema (snehavasti) cooked with the same decoction is also useful. If the patient is weak, they should be given an oil enema (anuvāsana) initially, and then cleansed using kṣīravasti (enemas prepared with milk and therapeutic herbs).

When the strength of the digestive fire has increased, the patient should be given oleation therapy followed by repeated purgation therapy using milk mixed with the paste of trivṛt – Operculina turpethum, or milk boiled with urubūka – Ricinus communis;

jAte cAgnibale snigdhaM bhUyo bhUyo virecayet । kSIreNa satrivRtkalkenorubUkazRtena vA ॥ 62 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसातलात्रायमाणाभ्यां शृतेनारग्वधेन वा । सकफे वा समूत्रेण सतिक्ताज्येन सानिले ॥ ६३ ॥
or milk boiled with sātalā – Euphorbia dracunculoides and trāyamāṇā – Gentiana kurroo, or with āragvadha – Cassia fistula. If the condition is associated with Kapha, the milk should be taken mixed with cow urine; if associated with Vāta, it should be mixed with bitter ghee (tiktājya);

sAtalAtrAyamANAbhyAM zRtenAragvadhena vA । sakaphe vA samUtreNa satiktAjyena sAnile ॥ 63 ॥

or the patient should take food along with milk boiled with any of these herbs or with the Vidāryādi Gaṇa decoction. Additionally, the abdomen should be given a warm poultice (upanāha) made of pāyasa (milk pudding).

Ingestion of milk, enema, purgation therapies administered one after the other, repeatedly with great care, cures enlargement of the abdomen caused by Pitta.
