क्वथितैः कल्कितैर्युक्तैः सुरासौवीरकादिभिः । तेनाभ्यञ्ज्यात्सुखोष्णेन तैः सुपिष्टैश्च लेपयेत् ॥ १४१ ॥

Making decoction and herbal paste of above herbs, added with fermented liquors. This oil should be massaged on the body comfortably warm, a nice paste of the above drugs applied warm over the body.

कवोष्णैस्तैः परीषेकमवगाहं च कल्पयेत् । केवलैरपि तद्वच्च शुक्तगोमूत्रमस्तुभिः ॥ १४२ ॥

Translation: In case of fever caused along with cold, rigors, above warm decoction, oil etc should be used for pouring on the body and tub bath. Similarly, fermented gruel, cow urine or whey, may be used alone (without processing with herbs).
