Arthashastra
अवरुद्धं स्व भूमिभ्यः समीपाद् वा भयाद् गतम् ॥ आच्छेदनाद् अदानाद् वा दत्त्वा वा अप्य् अवमानितम् ॥
A friend who is not relieved from his troubles owing to fear, contempt, or indifference; a friend who is surrounded in his own place or who has run away owing to fear;
english translation
avaruddhaM sva bhUmibhyaH samIpAd vA bhayAd gatam ॥ AcchedanAd adAnAd vA dattvA vA apy avamAnitam ॥
