पीडनानाम् अनुत्पत्ताव् उत्पन्नानां च वारणे । यतेत देश वृद्ध्य् अर्थं नाशे च स्तम्भ सङ्गयोः ॥

In the interests of the prosperity of the country, one should attempt to avoid the cause of troubles, remedy them when they happen, and avert obstructions and financial troubles.

english translation

pIDanAnAm anutpattAv utpannAnAM ca vAraNe । yateta deza vRddhy arthaM nAze ca stambha saGgayoH ॥
