"प्रथमा प्रकृतिः, तस्य भूम्य् अनन्तरा द्वितीया, भूम्य् एक अन्तरा तृतीया" इति ॥
for example: "He who is close to the conqueror's territory is the first member; next to him comes the second member; and next to the second comes the third."
english translation
"prathamA prakRtiH, tasya bhUmy anantarA dvitIyA, bhUmy eka antarA tRtIyA" iti ॥
