संघ मुख्य पुत्रम् आत्म सम्भावितं वा सत्त्री ग्राहयेत् "अमुष्य राज्ञः पुत्रस् त्वम्, शत्रु भयाद् इह न्यस्तो असि" इति ॥
Or a spy may tell a self-confident son of the chief of corporations: "You are the son of such and such a king and are kept here under the apprehension of danger from enemies."

प्रतिपन्नं राजा कोश दण्डाभ्याम् उपगृह्य संघेषु विक्रमयेत् ॥
When he is deluded with this belief, the conqueror may help him with men and money and set him against the corporations.

अवाप्त अर्थस् तम् अपि प्रवासयेत् ॥
When the object in view is realised, the conqueror may also banish him.

बन्धकी पोषकाः प्लवक नट नर्तक सौभिका वा प्रणिहिताः स्त्रीभिः परम रूप यौवनाभिः संघ मुख्यान् उन्मादयेयुः ॥
Keepers of harlots or dancers, players, and actors may, after gaining access, excite love in the minds of the chiefs of corporations by exhibiting women endowed with bewitching youth and beauty.

जात कामानाम् अन्यतमस्य प्रत्ययं कृत्वा अन्यत्र गमनेन प्रसभ हरणेन वा कलहान् उत्पादयेयुः ॥
By causing the woman to go to another person or by pretending that another person has violently carried her off, they may bring about quarrel among those who love that woman
