उचितां वा मित्राद् भूमिं दीयमानां न प्रतिगृह्णीयात् ॥
He should not accept the offer of a good country even from a friend.
english translation
ucitAM vA mitrAd bhUmiM dIyamAnAM na pratigRhNIyAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमन्त्रि पुरोहित सेना पति युव राजानाम् अन्यतमम् अदृश्यमाने भर्तरि पश्येत्, यथा शक्ति च उपकुर्यात् ॥
Unknown his protector, he may see the protector's minister, high priest, commander of the army or heir-apparent. He should also help his protector as much as he can.
english translation
mantri purohita senA pati yuva rAjAnAm anyatamam adRzyamAne bhartari pazyet, yathA zakti ca upakuryAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदैवत स्वस्ति वाचनेषु तत् परा आशिषो वाचयेत् ॥
On all occasions of worshipping gods and of making prayers, be should cause his people to pray for the long life of his protector.
english translation
daivata svasti vAcaneSu tat parA AziSo vAcayet ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसर्वत्र आत्म निसर्गं गुणं ब्रूयात् ॥
and he should always proclaim his readiness to place himself at the disposal of his protector.

sarvatra Atma nisargaM guNaM brUyAt ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसम्युक्त बलवत् सेवी विरुद्धः शङ्कित आदिभिः । वर्तेत दण्ड उपनतो भर्तर्य् एवम् अवस्थितः ॥
Serving him who is strong and combined with others and being far away from the society of suspected persons, a conquered king should thus always behave himself towards his protector.

samyukta balavat sevI viruddhaH zaGkita AdibhiH । varteta daNDa upanato bhartary evam avasthitaH ॥
