तस्यां चातुर्वर्ण्य निवेशे सर्व भोग सहत्वाद् अवर वर्ण प्राया श्रेयसी, बाहुल्याद् ध्रुवत्वाच् च कृष्याः कर्षकवती, कृष्याश् च अन्येषां च आरम्भाणां प्रयोजकत्वात् गो रक्षकवती, पण्य निचय ऋण अनुग्रहाद् आढ्य वणिग्वती ॥

Of cultivated and uncultivated tracts, the uncultivated tract may be suitable for various kinds of agricultural operations; and when it is fertile, adapted for pasture grounds, manufacture of merchandise, mercantile transactions of borrowing and lending, and attractive to rich merchants.
