व्याधि भयम् औपनिषदिकैः प्रतीकारैः प्रतिकुर्युः, औषधैश् चिकित्सकाः शान्ति प्रायश्चित्तैर् वा सिद्ध तापसाः ॥
(Pestilences.) Such remedial measures as will be treated of in the 14th book shall be taken against pestilences. Physicians with their medicines, and ascetics and prophets with their auspicious and purificatory ceremonials shall also overcome pestilences.
