पर दुर्गम् अवाप्य विशुद्ध शत्रु पक्षं कृत उपांशु दण्ड प्रतीकारम् अन्तर् बहिश् च प्रविशेत् ॥
After the captured fort is cleared of the enemy's partisans and is well guarded by the conqueror's men both within and without, he should make his victorious entry into it.
