संधि रात्रिषु श्मशान प्रमुखे वा चैत्यम् ऊर्ध्व भक्षितैर् मनुष्यैः प्ररूपयेयुः ॥
Whoever accepts the challenge may be beaten to death by others with rods, making the people believe that he was killed by demons.
english translation
saMdhi rAtriSu zmazAna pramukhe vA caityam Urdhva bhakSitair manuSyaiH prarUpayeyuH ॥
