दाता प्रतिग्रहीता च स्यातां न उपहतौ यथा । दाने क्रये वा अनुशयं तथा कुर्युः सभासदः ॥

An assembly convened for the purpose shall, in the matter of rescending sales or gifts, decide in such a way that neither the giver nor the receiver shall be injured thereby.

english translation

dAtA pratigrahItA ca syAtAM na upahatau yathA । dAne kraye vA anuzayaM tathA kuryuH sabhAsadaH ॥
