धाम अर्गव यातु धान मूलं भल्लातक पुष्प चूर्ण युक्तम् आर्धमासिकः ॥
The powder prepared from the roots of dhámárgava (lufta foetida) and yátudhána (?) mixed with the powder of the flower of bhallátaka (Semecarpus Anacardium) causes, when administered, death in the course of half a month.
english translation
dhAma argava yAtu dhAna mUlaM bhallAtaka puSpa cUrNa yuktam ArdhamAsikaH ॥

A monthly treatment for worms consists of a compound of the roots of vyāghātaka and the powdered flowers of bhallātaka.
english translation
vyAghAtaka mUlaM bhallAtaka puSpa cUrNa yuktaM kITa yogo mAsikaH ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकला मात्रं पुरुषाणाम्, द्वि गुणं खर अश्वानाम्, चतुर् गुणं हस्त्य् उष्ट्राणाम् ॥
As much as a kalá (16th of a tola) to men; twice as much to mules and horses; and four times as much to elephants and camels.
english translation
kalA mAtraM puruSANAm, dvi guNaM khara azvAnAm, catur guNaM hasty uSTrANAm ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशत कर्दम उच्चिदिङ्ग कर वीर कटु तुम्बी मत्स्य धूमो मदन कोद्रव पलालेन हस्ति कर्ण पलाश पलालेन वा प्रवात अनुवाते प्रणीतो यावच् चरति तावन् मारयति ॥
The smoke caused by burning the powder of satakardama (?), uchchitinga (crab), karavira (nerium odorum), katutumbi (a kind of bitter gourd), and fish together with the chaff of the grains of madana (?) and kodrava (paspalam scrobiculatum), or with the chaff of the seeds of hastikarna (castor oil tree) and palása (butea frondosa) destroys animal life as far as it is carried off by the wind.

zata kardama uccidiGga kara vIra kaTu tumbI matsya dhUmo madana kodrava palAlena hasti karNa palAza palAlena vA pravAta anuvAte praNIto yAvac carati tAvan mArayati ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूकि कीट मस्त्य कटु तुम्बी शत कर्दम इध्म इन्द्र गोप चूर्णं पूति कीट क्षुद्र आराला हेम विदारी चूर्णं वा बस्त शृङ्ग खुर चूर्ण युक्तम् अन्धी करो धूमः ॥
The smoke caused by burning the powder of pútikita (a stinking insect), fish, katutumbi (a kind of bitter gourd), the bark of satakardama (?), and indragopa (the insect cochineal), or the powder of pútikita, kshudrárála (the resin of the plant, shorea robusta), and hemavidári (?) mixed with the powder of the hoof and horn of a goat causes blindness.

pUki kITa mastya kaTu tumbI zata kardama idhma indra gopa cUrNaM pUti kITa kSudra ArAlA hema vidArI cUrNaM vA basta zRGga khura cUrNa yuktam andhI karo dhUmaH ॥
