शाल्मली विदारी धान्य सिद्धो मूल वत्स नाभ सम्युक्तश् चुच्छुन्दरी शोणित प्रलेपेन दिग्धो बाणो यं विध्यति स विद्धो अन्यान् दश पुरुषान् दशति, ते दष्टा दश अन्यान् दशन्ति पुरुषान् ॥
Whoever is pierced by the arrow prepared from the grains of sálmali (bombax heptaphyllum) and vidári (liquorice) reduced to powder and mixed with the powder of múlavatsanábha (a kind of poison) and smeared over with the blood of chuchundari (musk-rat) bites some ten other persons who in their turn bite others.

zAlmalI vidArI dhAnya siddho mUla vatsa nAbha samyuktaz cucchundarI zoNita pralepena digdho bANo yaM vidhyati sa viddho anyAn daza puruSAn dazati, te daSTA daza anyAn dazanti puruSAn ॥
