कल्याण बुद्धिना संदधीत, शठं "तथा" इति प्रतिगृह्य अतिसंदध्यात् इति ॥

But when a person of obstinate temper so conspires, he should be allowed to have his own way and then deceived. Thus the form of policy to be adopted should be considered.

english translation

kalyANa buddhinA saMdadhIta, zaThaM "tathA" iti pratigRhya atisaMdadhyAt iti ॥
