ततः पूर्ववद् आचरेत् ॥
Then the spies may proceed in their usual way.

tataH pUrvavad Acaret ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयेभ्यश् च राजा याचितो ददाति तान् सत्त्रिणो ब्रूयुः "उक्तः शून्य पालो राज्ञा "अयाच्यम् अर्थम् असौ च असौ च मा याचते, तेभ्यो मया सो अर्थो विश्वास अर्थं दत्तः, शत्रु संहिताः, तेषाम् उद्धरणे प्रयतस्व" इति ॥
Spies may also tell those who have been granted their request by the king (the enemy) that the officer in charge of waste lands has been told by the king: "Such and such persons have demanded their due from me; I have granted them all their requests in order to gain their confidence. But they are conspiring with my enemy. So make attempts to put them down."
english translation
yebhyaz ca rAjA yAcito dadAti tAn sattriNo brUyuH "uktaH zUnya pAlo rAjJA "ayAcyam artham asau ca asau ca mA yAcate, tebhyo mayA so artho vizvAsa arthaM dattaH, zatru saMhitAH, teSAm uddharaNe prayatasva" iti ॥

hk transliteration by Sanscriptये च एनं याच्यम् अर्थं न याचन्ते तान् सत्त्रिणो ब्रूयुः "उक्तः शून्य पालो राज्ञा "याच्यम् अर्थम् असौ च असौ च मा न याचते, किम् अन्यत् स्व दोष शङ्कितत्वात्, तेषाम् उद्धरणे प्रयतस्व" इति ॥
Spies may also tell those who do not demand their due from the king that the officer in charge of waste lands has been told: "Such and such persons do not demand their due from me. What else can be the reason than their suspicion about my knowledge of their guilt? So make attempts to put them down."
