Arthashastra
अन्तः पुर पुर द्वारं द्रव्य धान्य परिग्रहान् । दहेयुस् तांश् च हन्युर् वा ब्रूयुर् अस्य आर्त वादिनः ॥
Spreading the false news of the danger of the enemy, they (spies) may set fire to the harem, the gates of the town and the store-house of grains and other things, and slay the sentinels who are kept to guard them.
english translation
antaH pura pura dvAraM dravya dhAnya parigrahAn । daheyus tAMz ca hanyur vA brUyur asya Arta vAdinaH ॥
