शिवदीक्षान्वितो भक्तो महाप्रसादसंज्ञकम् । सर्वेषामपि लिंगानां नैवेद्यं भक्षयेच्छुभम् ११ ।
The Naivedya of all phallic icons is called a great favour and is auspicious. A devotee after initiation into Śaiva cult shall eat it.
english translation
zivadIkSAnvito bhakto mahAprasAdasaMjJakam । sarveSAmapi liMgAnAM naivedyaM bhakSayecchubham 11 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअन्यदीक्षायुजां नॄणां शिवभक्तिरतात्मनाम् । शृणुध्वं निर्णयं प्रीत्या शिवनैवेद्यभक्षणे १२ ।
Please listen to the decision with pleasure on partaking of Śiva’s Naivedya by persons who take initiation in other cults but maintain their devotion to Siva.
english translation
anyadIkSAyujAM nRRNAM zivabhaktiratAtmanAm । zRNudhvaM nirNayaM prItyA zivanaivedyabhakSaNe 12 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवदीक्षान्वितो भक्तो महाप्रसादसंज्ञकम् । सर्वेषामपि लिंगानां नैवेद्यं भक्षयेच्छुभम् ११ ।
A devotee who has received the initiation (Shiva Diksha) and is blessed with great grace should not consume the offerings (naivedya) or food of any Shiva Linga unless it is pure and auspicious.
english translation
zivadIkSAnvito bhakto mahAprasAdasaMjJakam । sarveSAmapi liMgAnAM naivedyaM bhakSayecchubham 11 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptकाश्मीरे स्फाटिके रात्ने ज्योतिर्लिंगेषु सर्वशः । चान्द्रायणसमं प्रोक्तं शंभोर्नैवेद्यभक्षणम् १४ ।
In Kashmir, in all the Jyotirlingas, especially those made of crystal and gems, it is said that consuming the offerings (naivedya) is not permissible, similar to the restrictions of the Chandra Yana fast.
english translation
kAzmIre sphATike rAtne jyotirliMgeSu sarvazaH । cAndrAyaNasamaM proktaM zaMbhornaivedyabhakSaNam 14 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptब्रह्महापि शुचिर्भूत्वा निर्माल्यं यस्तु धारयेत् । भक्षयित्वा द्रुतं तस्य सर्वपापं प्रणश्यति १५ ।
Even the slayer of a brahmin if he partakes of the remains of the food offered to the God quells all his sins immediately.
english translation
brahmahApi zucirbhUtvA nirmAlyaM yastu dhArayet । bhakSayitvA drutaM tasya sarvapApaM praNazyati 15 ।
