वेदैः पुराणैः सिद्धान्तैरृषिभिर्विविधैरपि । न ज्ञातोसि महादेव कुतोहं त्वं महाशिव ५९ ।

Through the Vedas, the Puranas, the philosophical doctrines, and the great sages, You are not known, O Mahadeva! How then can I, a mere mortal, know You, the Great Shiva?

english translation

vedaiH purANaiH siddhAntairRSibhirvividhairapi । na jJAtosi mahAdeva kutohaM tvaM mahAziva 59 ।
