पंचमी चैव मौमाख्या षष्ठी कैलाससंज्ञिका । सप्तमी वायवीयाख्या सप्तैवं संहितामताः ६१ ।
The fifth is Aumi (of Umā), the sixth Kailāsa and the seventh Vāyavīya; these are the seven Saṃhitās.
english translation
paMcamI caiva maumAkhyA SaSThI kailAsasaMjJikA । saptamI vAyavIyAkhyA saptaivaM saMhitAmatAH 61 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptससप्तसंहितं दिव्यं पुराणं शिवसंज्ञकम् । वरीवर्ति ब्रह्मतुल्यं सर्वोपरि गतिप्रदम् ६२ ।
Thus the divine Śivapurāṇa with its seven Saṃhitās stands on a par with the Vedas, according salvation more than anything else.
english translation
sasaptasaMhitaM divyaM purANaM zivasaMjJakam । varIvarti brahmatulyaM sarvopari gatipradam 62 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएतच्छिवपुराणं हि सप्तसंहितमादरात् । परिपूर्णं पठेद्यस्तु स जीवन्मुक्त उच्यते ६३ ।
He who reads this Śivapurāṇa complete with the seven Saṃhitās devotedly is a living liberated soul.
english translation
etacchivapurANaM hi saptasaMhitamAdarAt । paripUrNaM paThedyastu sa jIvanmukta ucyate 63 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptश्रुतिस्मृतिपुराणेतिहासागमशतानि च । एतच्छिवपुराणस्य नार्हंत्यल्पां कलामपि ६४ ।
Hundreds of other sacred texts as the Vedas, Smṛtis, Purāṇas, Itihāsas, and Āgamas do not merit even a sixteenth of this Śivapurāṇa.

zrutismRtipurANetihAsAgamazatAni ca । etacchivapurANasya nArhaMtyalpAM kalAmapi 64 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशैवं पुराणममलं शिवकीर्तितं तद्व्यासेन शैवप्रवणेन न । संगृहीतम् । संक्षेपतः सकलजीवगुणोपकारे तापत्रयघ्नमतुलं शिवदं सतां । हि ६५ ।
Śivapurāṇa is first expounded by Śiva and then condensed by Vyāsa, a devotee of Śiva. It is pure and brief and as such it renders help to all living beings. As a queller of the threefold calamities (physical, extraneous and divine) it is unrivalled. It bestows welfare upon the good.
english translation
zaivaM purANamamalaM zivakIrtitaM tadvyAsena zaivapravaNena na । saMgRhItam । saMkSepataH sakalajIvaguNopakAre tApatrayaghnamatulaM zivadaM satAM । hi 65 ।
