Shiva Purana
प्रागादिषु यथामंत्रमिंद्रा दीन्क्रमशो यजेत् । तत्तन्नाम्ना चतुर्थ्यां च नमोन्ते न यथाक्रमम् ११३ ।
The respective guardians of the different quarters shall be worshipped in the vessels concerned, using the dative case after the name and ending with Namaḥ.
english translation
prAgAdiSu yathAmaMtramiMdrA dInkramazo yajet । tattannAmnA caturthyAM ca namonte na yathAkramam 113 ।
