Shiva Purana
संहर्तारं तथा रुद्रं स्वप्रकाशमुपास्महे । ज्ञानकर्मेंद्रि याणां च मनोवृत्तीर्धियस्तथा ३६ ।
We worship the destroyer (Samhartara), Lord Rudra, who is of the nature of self-illumination. Similarly, we meditate upon the functions of the senses, the mind, and the intellect (knowledge, actions, and mental tendencies).
english translation
saMhartAraM tathA rudraM svaprakAzamupAsmahe । jJAnakarmeMdri yANAM ca manovRttIrdhiyastathA 36 ।
