गायत्र्! या जपमंत्रांते त्रिरूर्ध्वं प्राग्विनिक्षिपेत् । मंत्रेण सह चैकं वै मध्येऽर्घ्यं तु रवेर्द्विजा २६ ।
O brahmins, at the end of the Japa of Gāyatrī-mantra Arghya shall be offered thrice to the sun towards east and once also thereafter.
english translation
gAyatr! yA japamaMtrAMte trirUrdhvaM prAgvinikSipet । maMtreNa saha caikaM vai madhye'rghyaM tu raverdvijA 26 ।
