अहमेव वरो न त्वमहं प्रभुरहं प्रभुः । परस्परं हंतुकामौ चक्रतुः समरोद्यमम् ९ ।

sanskrit

I alone am the supreme boon, not you; I am the Lord, and I am the Lord, Both of us, desiring to defeat each other, engaged in a mighty battle.

english translation

ahameva varo na tvamahaM prabhurahaM prabhuH | parasparaM haMtukAmau cakratuH samarodyamam 9 |
