मुनय ऊचुः ॥ व्यासशिष्य महाभाग सूत पौराणिकोत्तम ॥ अपरं श्रोतुमिच्छामः किमप्याख्यानमीशितुः॥ १॥

sanskrit

The sages said:— O blessed disciple of Vyāsa, O Sūta the most excellent among the knowers of the Purāṇas, we wish to hear some other story of the lord.

english translation

munaya UcuH ॥ vyAsaziSya mahAbhAga sUta paurANikottama ॥ aparaM zrotumicchAmaH kimapyAkhyAnamIzituH॥ 1॥
