इत्युक्त्वा स पुनर्विष्णोः पादयोर्मुनिसत्तमः ॥ पपात सुमतिर्भक्त्या पश्चात्तापमुपागतः ॥ २६ ॥
Saying thus, the excellent sage once again fell at Viṣṇu’s feet and with the mind purified repented sincerely.
english translation
ityuktvA sa punarviSNoH pAdayormunisattamaH ॥ papAta sumatirbhaktyA pazcAttApamupAgataH ॥ 26 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअथ विष्णुस्तमुत्थाप्य बभाषे सूनृतं वचः ॥ विष्णुरुवाच ॥ न खेदं कुरु मे भक्त वरस्त्वं नात्र संशयः ॥ २७ ॥
Thereupon Viṣṇu lifted him up and spoke affably and courteously.Viṣṇu said:— “Do not be sorry too much. Undoubtedly you are my true devotee.
english translation
atha viSNustamutthApya babhASe sUnRtaM vacaH ॥ viSNuruvAca ॥ na khedaM kuru me bhakta varastvaM nAtra saMzayaH ॥ 27 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशृणु तात प्रवक्ष्यामि सुहितं तव निश्चयात् ॥१। निरयस्ते न भविता शिवश्शं ते विधास्यति ॥ २८ ॥
Dear sage, now listen. I shall tell you what is certainly beneficial to you. You will not fall into hell. Śiva will make you happy.
english translation
zRNu tAta pravakSyAmi suhitaM tava nizcayAt ॥1। nirayaste na bhavitA zivazzaM te vidhAsyati ॥ 28 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptयदकार्षीश्शिववचो वितथं मदमोहितः ॥ स दत्तवानीदृशं ते फलं कर्म फलप्रदः ॥ २९ ॥
Deluded by your haughtiness you disobeyed the instructions of Śiva. The true bestower of fruits according to the actions, He has given you this result.
english translation
yadakArSIzzivavaco vitathaM madamohitaH ॥ sa dattavAnIdRzaM te phalaM karma phalapradaH ॥ 29 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवेच्छाऽखिलं जातं कुर्वित्थं निश्चितां मतिम् ॥ गर्वापहर्ता स स्वामी शंकरः परमेश्वरः ॥ 2-1-4-३० ॥।
Be sure in your mind that everything has happened in accordance with Śiva’s wish. That lord Śiva, the supreme lord, removes haughtiness.
english translation
zivecchA'khilaM jAtaM kurvitthaM nizcitAM matim ॥ garvApahartA sa svAmI zaMkaraH paramezvaraH ॥ 2-1-4-30 ॥।
