॥ विष्णुरुवाच॥ महेश्वराय देवाय नमस्ते परमात्मने ॥ नारायणाय रुद्राय ब्रह्मणे ब्रह्मरूपिणे ॥ ६ ॥
Viṣṇu said: Obeisance to you, great lord, the great soul, Nārāyaṇa, Rudra and Brahmā, obeisance to you in the form of Brahman.
english translation
एवं कृत्वा महादेवं दंडवत्प्रणिपत्य ह ॥ जजाप रुद्रमंत्रं च दक्षिणामूर्तिसंभवम्॥ ७ ॥
After eulogising lord Śiva thus and prostrating at length, he repeated the mantra of Dakṣināmūrti Rudra.
english translation
जले स्थित्वा सार्द्धकोटिप्रमितं तन्मनाः प्रभुः॥ संस्मरन् मनसा शंभुं स्वप्रभुं परमेश्वरम् ॥ ८ ॥
He repeated the mantra fifteen million times standing in water and concentrating his mind on him.

तावद्देवास्तदा सर्वे तन्मनस्का महेश्वरम् ॥९॥
Lord Viṣṇu meditated on the great lord Śiva. In the meantime, the gods too eulogised him with devotion.

देवा ऊचुः ॥ नमस्सर्वात्मने तुभ्यं शंकरायार्तिहारिणे ॥ रुद्राय नीलकंठाय चिद्रूपाय प्रचेतसे ॥ 2-5-6-१० ॥
Obeisance to you, the soul of all, obeisance to Śiva the remover of distress, obeisance to the blue-necked Rudra, obeisance to the knowledge-formed Śiva of great mind.
