एवं यः पूजयेन्नित्यं शिवभक्तिपरायणः ॥ तस्य वै सकला सिद्धिर्जायते तु पदे पदे ॥ ८१ ॥
He who performs the worship regularly like this with great devotion to Śiva shall achieve success at every step.
english translation
वाग्मी स जायते तस्य मनोभी ष्टफलं ध्रुवम् ॥ रोगं दुःखं च शोकं च ह्युद्वेगं कृत्रिमं तथा ॥ ८२ ॥
A person who speaks with a pure and devoted mind will undoubtedly attain the desired result. Diseases, sorrow, grief, and artificial distress will be removed from him.
english translation
कौटिल्यं च गरं चैव यद्यदुःखमुपस्थितम् ॥ तद्दुःखं नाश यत्येव शिवः शिवकरः परः ॥८३॥
Whatever sorrow or misery may arise, whether it be related to doubt or suffering, it is Lord Shiva, the supreme benefactor, who destroys that sorrow and brings about well-being.
english translation
कल्याणं जायते तस्य शुक्लपक्षे यथा शशी ॥ वर्द्धते सद्गुणस्तत्र ध्रुवं शंकरपूजनात् ॥८४॥
Just as the moon waxes in the bright half, his joy and merits shall increase day by day certainly by the worship of Śiva.
english translation
इति पूजाविधिश्शंभोः प्रोक्तस्ते मुनिसत्तम ॥ अतः परं च शुश्रूषुः किं प्रष्टासि च नारद ॥ ८५ ॥
O foremost among sages, thus I have told you the mode of worship of Śiva. O Nārada what else do you wish to hear?
