अद्यैव सप्तमी या सा गंगारूपास्ति तत्र वै॥ इत्युक्त्वान्तर्दधे देवी सा गंगा मुनिसत्तमाः ॥ ६१ ॥
Today is that seventh day. The river is in the form of Gaṅgā there.” Saying so the lady vanished. O excellent sages, she was Gaṅgā herself.
english translation
adyaiva saptamI yA sA gaMgArUpAsti tatra vai॥ ityuktvAntardadhe devI sA gaMgA munisattamAH ॥ 61 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनिवृत्तश्च द्विजः सोपि मात्रस्थ्यर्द्धं स्ववस्त्रतः ॥ क्षिपेद्यावत्तत्र तीर्थे तावच्चित्रमभूत्तदा ॥ ६२॥
The brahmin returned. As soon as he cast off half the bones of his mother from his bundle into the holy river, a wanderful incident happened.
english translation
nivRttazca dvijaH sopi mAtrasthyarddhaM svavastrataH ॥ kSipedyAvattatra tIrthe tAvaccitramabhUttadA ॥ 62॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptदिव्यदेहत्वमापन्ना स्वमाता च व्यदृश्यत ॥ धन्योसि कृतकृत्योसि पवित्रं च कुलं त्वया ॥ ६३ ॥
She appeared to be her mother who had assumed a divine body. You are blessed you have accomplished your purpose and your family is holy.
english translation
divyadehatvamApannA svamAtA ca vyadRzyata ॥ dhanyosi kRtakRtyosi pavitraM ca kulaM tvayA ॥ 63 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptधनं धान्यं तथा चायुर्वंशो वै वर्द्धतां तव ॥ इत्याशिषं मुहुर्दत्त्वा स्वपुत्राय दिवं गता ॥ ६४ ॥
May you have wealth, grain, longevity and prosperity. Having thus repeatedly blessed her son she went to heaven

dhanaM dhAnyaM tathA cAyurvaMzo vai varddhatAM tava ॥ ityAziSaM muhurdattvA svaputrAya divaM gatA ॥ 64 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्र भुक्त्वा सुखं भूरि चिरकालं महोत्तमम् ॥ शंकरस्य प्रसादेन गता सा ह्युत्तमां गतिम् ॥ ६५ ॥
After enjoying excellent happiness there for a long time, she attained the excellent goal, thanks to the grace of Śiva.
english translation
tatra bhuktvA sukhaM bhUri cirakAlaM mahottamam ॥ zaMkarasya prasAdena gatA sA hyuttamAM gatim ॥ 65 ॥
