पार्थिवं च तदा श्रेष्ठं विदध्यान्मंत्रवान्यदि ॥ कृतनित्यक्रियः पश्चात्पार्थिवं च समर्चयेत् ॥ ३६॥
If he knows the sacred verses, he shall make earthen images of excellent type. After performing the daily routine he shall worship the earthen image.
english translation
प्रथमं पार्थिवं कृत्वा पश्चात्स्थापनमाचरेत् ॥ स्तोत्रैर्नानाविधैर्देवं तोषयेद्वृषभध्वजम् ॥ ३७॥
After making the earthen image, he shall install it thereafter. The devotee shall propitiate the bull-bannered lord, with several hymns.

माहात्म्यं व्रतसंभूतं पठितव्यं सुधीमता ॥ श्रोतव्यं भक्तवर्येण व्रतसम्पूर्तिकाम्यया ॥ ३८॥
The glory of the Vrata shall be proclaimed by the intelligent devotee. It shall be heard by the devotee desiring the completion of the Vrata.

चतुर्ष्वपि च यामेषु मूर्तीनां च चतुष्टयम् ॥ कृत्वावाहनपूर्वं हि विसर्गावधि वै क्रमात् ॥ ३९ ॥
There are also four idols in the four Yamas Before making the invocation, one should perform the rituals in order until the end of the discharge.

कार्यं जागरणं प्रीत्या महोत्सव समन्वितम् ॥ प्रातः स्नात्वा पुनस्तत्र स्थापयेत्पूजयेच्छिवम् ॥ ४०॥
The work is to be awakened with love and with a great celebration. In the morning one should take a bath and place it there again and worship Lord Shiva.
