शङ्कर उवाच॥ ज्ञातं मयेदं सकलं तव चित्तेप्सितं हरे ॥ देवकार्यं विशेषेण देवकार्य्यरतात्मनः ॥ १० ॥

sanskrit

Śiva said:— O Viṣṇu, all the desires in your mind, particularly the task of the gods have been understood by me. Indeed you are engaged in the task of the gods.

english translation

zaGkara uvAca॥ jJAtaM mayedaM sakalaM tava cittepsitaM hare ॥ devakAryaM vizeSeNa devakAryyaratAtmanaH ॥ 10 ॥
