प्रसन्नो भव देवेश जगदाह्लादकारक ।। कर्ता पालयिता त्वञ्च संहर्ता त्वं निरक्षरः ।। ४० ।।

The following prayer shall be recited—“O lord of the gods, be pleased, O delighter of the universe. You are the creator, protector and the annihilator. You are imperishable.

english translation

prasanno bhava deveza jagadAhlAdakAraka || kartA pAlayitA tvaJca saMhartA tvaM nirakSaraH || 40 ||
