Shiva Purana
वेदसारञ्च विद्वद्भिरगोचरमिति श्रुतम् ॥ आविर्मध्यान्तरहितं भेषजं भवरोगिणाम् ॥ ४५ ॥
The essence of the Vedas is also heard by learned men to be invisible. They appeared without intermediate medicine for the sick of this world.
english translation
vedasAraJca vidvadbhiragocaramiti zrutam ॥ AvirmadhyAntarahitaM bheSajaM bhavarogiNAm ॥ 45 ॥
