॥ईश्वर उवाच ॥ दक्षिणे मंडलस्याथ वैयाघ्रं चर्मशोभनम्॥ आस्तीर्य्य शुद्धतोयेन प्रोक्षयेदस्त्रमंत्रतः ॥ १॥

Lord Śiva said:— On the southern side of the circle is a tiger with a beautiful skin. Cover it with pure water and sprinkle it with the mantra Astra.
