Shiva Purana
पद्ममष्टदलं रक्तं पीतकिंजल्ककर्णिकम् ॥ शवर्गस्य तृतीयन्तु षष्ठस्वरसमन्वितम् ॥ १८॥
The eight-petalled lotus is red with yellow silk ears. The third of the shavarga is composed of the sixth note.
english translation
padmamaSTadalaM raktaM pItakiMjalkakarNikam ॥ zavargasya tRtIyantu SaSThasvarasamanvitam ॥ 18॥
